#writerscoffeeclub 11/12: How many times do you usually edit?
I'm constantly editing as I go. I don't do drafts. I work as though everything that's there is the final draft up to this point.
I just completed a short story that is a prequel to the novel length WIP. The short story takes place several months before the WIP. Writing the short piece gave me some new background to incorporate into the novel. But even without that going on, I'm always back tracking to fix up details here and there.
(See, I already had to edit this--twice. I'm a bad proofreader.)
