Auf meinem frisch installierten #ArchLinux bekomme ich seit Tagen nicht #musikcube installiert. #pikaur scheitert aufgrund eines "schwerwiegenden Fehlers", da es Datei oder Verzeichnis "asio/io_service.hpp" nicht finden kann.

#asio ist aber mit #pacman installiert. Wo liegt also der Fehler? Ich bin ratlos.

Ce qui me permet de lire directement ma collection située sur le cloud d'Infomaniak (préalablement configuré dans le gestionnaire de fichiers de Gnome comme lecteur distant).

Une limitation, c'est qu'on ne voit pas les couvertures des albums. C'est une fonctionnalité demandée, qui verra peut-être le jour tôt ou tard.

I recently found #musikcube which is a 'is a fully functional terminal-based music player, library, and streaming audio server'.

Since I could not find any possibility to stream to a PC I decided to write a web-based player to stream the music to using musikcube.
Technology wise I use typescript and vue.

The API is nicely documented so the player makes good progress :)

#musikcube's compile process really puzzles me. It consist of 312 C++ files to be compiled. The first third takes around 30 minutes here, the other two thirds need about 5 minutes 🤔

i had been using #musikcube for a console music player but it crashes on one of my favorite albuns and i have absolutely no idea why. i tried #cmus but the bindings are so weird i always think i'll end up deleting stuff i don't want to.

anyone got a suggestion that **doesn't** involve setting up #mpd (because i couldn't make sense of that one either)?
