I'm glad these folks did this because the information imbalance in the wake of these sorts of police killings is so fucked up.
Journalist basically already have Corey's whole governmental contact history and the typical character assassination of victims of police violence is already in full swing.
It's critical the cops names come out promptly to keep the information playing field level.

One of the things the cops keep saying is that they used an Axon Taser and it "wasn't effective".
They then claim the man they attacked without questioning "slashed an officer with a knife and so he was shot"
This all of course ignores the fact that tasers literally make a person sometimes flail or fall in ways a cop might find surprising especially if its only partially effective.
Even just the sound of a taser being shot and zapping would make many people flinch involuntarily.

Figured out how to get around KDE, elogind and music player daemon (mpd) just dying when you connect to it.
1. Log into console as user
2. Run mpd &
3. Log outmpd stays up and running and works in KDE. You just have to start mpd outside of the "KDE session".

Jag hörde idag på podden "If Books Could Kill" att det här med "Multiple Personaility Disorder" har blivit debunkat flera gånger om. Istälet visade det sig vara ett utmärkt sätt att få uppmärksamhet på.

Trying to get used to #MPD and #NCMPCPP but it is not easy. I cannot even remember the ncmpcpp name --- i might symlink it to something like 'play_music' or 'mpd_client'.
Also, to select all after searching you use 'v' to invert the selection. Nothing selected equals everything selected. Yes, it makes logical sense, but it is also so annoying and not documented. Would it have been too much just just note that in the help?

Ik gebruik al heel veel jaren (~15j) Icecast & mpd met een Liquidsoap scriptje en phpmp. En zo'n 100k tracks op mijn samba server. Allemaal oude zooi maar loopt al heel lang als een tiet.
Als ik de master2 out schuif open zet pikt het Liquidsoap script het geluid op en zit ik live in de show hahaha dus ik kan ook nog radio dj spelen. Zet ik de schuif dicht dan neemt AutoDJ het weer over.

¿Es mi imaginación, o recientemente #DuckDuckGo está cada vez peor? Estaba buscando cómo excluir directorios del #mpd (Music Player Daemon), y por $Deity, qué decepción. Que alguien me explique qué demonios tiene que ver con Windows Defender, por favor, porque yo ni idea.
Anyway, repetí la búsqueda en #Ecosia, #StartPage y #BraveSearch, y ni punto de comparación, oiga. Muchísimo mejor. También probé con #Qwant, pero quedó casi igual que DDG.

Looking for an #MPD control front-end for web, for use at parties, which
- can run in or behind an existing web server rather than needing to sit out on its own (I have things that do SSL termination etc. already)
- has vaguely sane configuration, logging, etc.
- isn't written in PHP, Rust would be ideal but I don't insist
- (ideally) can switch between multiple mpd servers
- (ideally) can have update disabled because on my server that takes a Long Time -
