Eski, yalnızca GPS için kullandığım telefonda LineageOS 23.2 yüklü ve hâlâ fena iş çıkarmıyor.

Desteğinin sonlandırıldığını ve artık güncelleme almayacağını öğrendim.

Termux kurup basit bir ev sunucusuna dönüştürdüm. Donanımı yetersiz olsa da şaşırtıcı derecede iyi iş çıkarıyor:

GoToSocial da kurdum ama medya işleme kısmında nefesi yetmedi. Kaldırmak zorunda kaldım

Soeben kam die neue Version von CLAUDIO, meiner App für Audiobooks, Podcasts und Musik, in den AppStore. Erstes Feedback der Accessibility-Initiative ist enthalten (danke nochmal allen fürs Teilen und natürlich das erhaltene Feedback!), mehr kommt mit der nächsten Version irgendwann Ende nächster Woche. Abgesehen davon habe ich Probleme bei höheren Abspielgeschwindigkeiten behoben und ein paar SMB-Probleme.

It's so easy to use that my “test instance” now has 300 albums on it, all for less than $4 a month.

Some #Homelab success today:

Finally finished a rough de-duping of my old music files, enough to justify setting up #Navidrome for streaming from my home server.

So I did! Even got it up and running on my phone and my wife's phone. Trying out #Amperfy on my wife's iOS and #Ultrasonic on my GrapheneOS.

So far so smooth!

I wish there was a way for my wife to build her own library out of our super large library (that is mostly my files)... but we can probably find a work around for that later.

Ok. So, I have that #navidrome server loaded with my music. I don’t want to use #firefox as a player, so I’ve tested 2 desktop clients for #macOS

UI is a little bit too clean for me, I would have loved a more fancy look. Great use of available pixels.
Does the job, very light but lacks some refinements (play count…). Will let you down if you try to create a playlist of more than 1600 tracks
Playback is flawless but limited to HTTP/2 -> no HTTP/3

OK, so I’ve…
- created a Jail on my #FreeBSD box and installed #Navidrome
- uploaded all my iTunes music library
- added a transcoding definition to convert in #flac

Now I have a music server with native ALAC streaming (Safari, #Submariner,…) and FLAC transcoding (#firefox and other)

My only regret is you cannot manipulate the library from Navidrome, it’s a 100% read-only application (best for security). So I’ll need another tool to change music files metadata (correct artists/album names…)

I'm having some pain setting up #navidrome as it seems a bit fiddly to get my #swinsian metadata (namely last played, star rating, play count) into the navidrome database. I'm learning #sqlite3 and #python as a result 😅. Well I did an introductory python course earlier in the year... #database #sqlite #musiclibrary #musicmetadata #metadata
