TL;DR My self-hosted music system (100% FOSS) setup allows listening of my local music collection on (almost) any device for me and my family members own AND IT'S NOT CLUMSY. It consists of: Yunohost system1 + Navidrome server + Feishin Linux app + Chora Androit TV app + Substreamer Android app. Like Spotify, but 'mine'. How it started I was storing my music collection to my NAS since 2000. Sometimes I accessed it via Samba or NFS, but it was clumsy and I didn't enjoy it. I tried out […]

  6. Anyone using Navidrome / Subsonic and clients:

How do I generate a playlist based of my last.fm recommendations or my library?

I don't want scrobbling. I already handled that.

I want to generate a playlist, where the track list is sourced from last.fm, and songs are sourced locally.

Is there any way to achieve this?

In other terms, I want to utilize last.fm radio from my local songs.

  11. @AliveDevil
I recently setup and am well impressed. It has a web interface to stream from but it also supports using apps that use the API.. I've been using which is on the app stores

    navidrome.org/
    substreamerapp.com/

You can setup user accounts for others to login and see the entire library and stream whatever they fancy. What i really like is generating share links to share playlists/albums etc with others without them needing an account

  12. @sergi I had it working flawlessly. I have a server using #raspberrypi and used #docker to host my services. I used #navidrome for setting the server, #nginx_proxy_manager for setting the external access and #substreamer or #dsub for listening.
