    🦞Dear friends of the #overcoming,

    This     #morning was using my #trusty #trinity of #OS, #Raspbian or RaspberryPI OS, Puppy #Linux and #Manjaro. Managed to get #Audacity running on the RPI3 WITH YE OLDE Tandy (Randy Shack in US) headphones, which I nearly #threw out due to not #working. Very pleased. Also did a #zoom call and caught up with a few instances …

    I still can not close, migrate Instance.     🤓 Puppy Linux wound me up because I could not get Audacity working. I also listened to a short podcast from a #fedifriend. What is the correct term if they are talking about #Buddhism or #Meditation? #Bodhi buddy? #Medifedi?

    Anyway time for     #lunch, might have #food for a #change … 😋

    More fun (not really) cholera facts:

    -there were six major cholera epidemics mostly during the 1800s, but there is a 7th cholera epidemic that's currently ongoing in South America, since 1961. Yes, there are problems with sanitation and clean drinking water there, but it's also partly because of a new cholera strain which is less lethal but more able to survive in aquatic environments. It can hang out in algae or other microorganisms, plus the guts of molluscs, fish, and seabirds.
    -Pakistani doctors in the 60s invented a rehydration regimen that could be administered orally instead of intravenously and this has dramatically improved outcomes for cholera patients (especially where medical professionals are in short supply)

    This is just from ONE chapter. It's a really good book!

    For all the #MedMastodon folks over here, I vote for #MediFedi as a hashtag. We will be embracing those from every instance & the very spirit of this platform. Many of us are not on med-mastodon, but all of us are part of the fediverse! 
Really want to connect with all medics, Sports Medics, Nurses, ACPs, Pharmacists, Physios, & anyone interested in any medical field. I learned hugely from you over on the bird site! 🙌🏻
