He wants to talk jobs? What about his use of the #NotWithstanding clause to avoid fair contact negotiations?
Ford is here so much for the people of Ontario - that he gifted a deal to build a luxury spa at #OntarioPlace . And here we are - with more than 80,000 people in the province are homeless during the worst winter we've seen in years, and Ford is sending out $200 'vote for me' cheques.
Ford's priorities? NOT the people.

Agreed. Just in case anyone missed it, when posts have included #kingFord , these four points were implied:
1. The big guy thinks and acts as if he were King and everyone in #Ontario are his subjects, none of whom are worthy of his regard
2. The first letter, F is ommitted
3. The second letter, U is ommitted
4. The third letter, C is ommitted -
Apparently the lessons of the past are lost on #kingFord and his cronies.
Speed limits have been lowered or kept down to decrease injury severity, vehicle damage as well as repair and insurance costs ... but what the heck, we got booze in corner stores now, so let's go for broke 😵💫

An ever expanding highway system is about as realistic as the concept of sustainable growth. It's not - when there are fixed resources and land area.

Apparently, to #kingFord , the massive gutting of conservation authorities is irrelevant. The end justifies the means and the collateral damage to flooded communities are acceptable losses.
From October 2022:

Our conservation authorities monitor, regulate and make recommendations regarding surface water.
Given their expertise and function, they need to be able to be more effective - not less.

@c_9 #kingFord is applying the old adage - When you don't want to do something, any excuse will do.
They don't want to fix the #OntarioScienceCentre because they have plans for the land that will make $$$ for their cronies.
All they have to do is get rid of the building ... and they've proven it doesn't matter how much it costs the taxpayers for the Cons to have it their way. -

@RandomCanuck #kingFord 's health care policies are designed to directly kill the system and as the system collapses, indirectly kill off the population - we are a liability to Conservative oligarchs. A broken system will justify them ushering in a for-profit health care model.

Let me clarify - my proposal was to clear out the elected officials that work for the oligarchs at Queens Park and replace them with contractors that work within a clearly worded contract - under and for the people of #Ontario .
Edit - something like a Board of Directors that are accountable to the shareholders.

@paulbusch and here we thought #kingFord 's #kleptocracy was just trying to torch the social support systems so they could be replaced by his #oligarch 's / private interest corporations' money machines.
And even with this report in hand, the Cons continued to justify & rationalize their attack on the #greenbelt - until clear evidence of #collusion was brought forward by #thenarwhal .
By directing the authors to minimize their findings and then sliding this report under the proverbial carpet, could the Cons try any harder to send #Ontario up in flames! 🤬
