@protonprivacy As noted by https://KilledByGoogle.com, this makes 59 apps, 211 services, and 23 hardware products dead by #Google’s rainbow-colored hands. (And counting: next on the chopping block is the #Jamboard app and device)
If they can’t slap #advertising on it or direct you somewhere else that can, it won’t last.

A reminder that Jamboard is closing Oct/Dec 2024.
Looking at Mastodon posts, it seems that the only people sad to see it go will be the schools that bought into the paid versions.As I only have 2 files, one from the @gfsc UnTechCon and one test I did for myself, I probably won't miss it either.

Anyone use Jamboard?
I only hopped on once for an online thing. Now it's being wound down.

I need to make a presentation. I do not like either Keynote of Power Point. This time I opted for starting to work on it with Google's #Jamboard. I have a Wacom tablet which allows me to draw sketches of the slides on the Jamboard and then iterate and refine, adding images and graphs if and where needed, and allowing for the handwritten notes to stay in some frames too.
I'm not entirely sure how this is going to play out, but let's see.
