I'm not saying it's going to happen, or even that it should, but I do think the objectively funniest and pettiest, but also most effective time for Joe Biden to announce stepping down from the race would be in a national address five minutes before Trump's speech starts at the RNC.

Not that it matters, not that anyone's asking, but that's when I would do it. If we can't have a working republic, then give us the best possible theater as it all burns.
