  3. "All Those Years Ago" is a song by the English rock musician #GeorgeHarrison, released in May 1981 as a single from his ninth studio album #SomewhereInEngland. Having previously recorded the music for the song, Harrison tailored the lyrics to serve as a personal #tribute to his former #Beatles bandmate #JohnLennon, following #theLattersMurder in 1980. #RingoStarr played drums, and #PaulMcCartney (along with his #Wings bandmates #LindaMcCartney and #DennyLaine).

  4. "Tomorrow Never Knows" is a song by the English rock band #theBeatles, written primarily by #JohnLennon and credited to #LennonMcCartney. It was released in August 1966 as the final track on their album #Revolver, although it was the first song recorded for the LP. The song marked a radical departure for the Beatles, as the band fully embraced the potential of the recording studio without consideration for reproducing the results in concert. When writing the song.

  6. Sgt. Pepper: The Greatest Beatles Album

In my personal opinion… Is Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band the GREATEST Beatles Album?

    Why, yes it is!

It contains some of the best Beatles tracks of all time on the album such as the infamous opening track; Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

I have this album on Vinyl and even listening to it when I was growing up, I still consider it as one of the greatest Beatles Albums of all time, if not, the best one out there

I know there are other great Beatles Albums like Revolver or Abbey Road and Let It Be.

But, for my personal choice, I’ve always considered as Sgt Pepper as the greatest Beatles Album

Have you got a favourite Beatles Album or tracks? I’d love to hear about them in the Comments!

  18. Interesting NY Times piece on what Dylan and Lennon (who usually got along very well) were really talking about in the back of that limo in 1966: nytimes.com/2026/04/05/style/b

Whether they were high, or just washed out (Dylan was extremely exhausted at the time)- what Dylan was getting at in the one part of it is that he felt Lennon really nicked his style with Norwegian Wood. Here's the full, unedited 20+ minute video of them talking: youtube.com/watch?v=rSO_YniK4XE. Fascinating shit.

  19. "Misery" is a song by the English rock band #theBeatles from their 1963 debut album #PleasePleaseMe. It was co-written by #JohnLennon and #PaulMcCartney. According to Lennon, "It was kind of a John song more than a Paul song, but it was written together." McCartney was to say: "I don't think either one of us dominated on that one, it was just a hacking job." A 1963 single by #KennyLynch made "Misery" the first Beatles' song to be #covered by another artist.
