We've managed to #escape the #house and are #aboard our #boat Singing the Blues again.

No idea when we'll be back aboard again. The buyers of our house visited yesterday saying their buyer is hoping to move on 23 July - so there's lots to do, starting with #packing an over big house with too much not offered to #Freegle and too much to pack.

It is Going to Be a Long Day

It is about 7:30am. My work day starts at 9:00am. My vacation kicks off 8.5 hours later at 5:30pm.

It is going to be a long day. A really… really… long… day.

After that? I have to pack. I have to make a stash of protein bars to get me through the first couple of days in Florida. I have to figure out the camera situation… charge up the Z5 and put on the 40mm lens, fill up a bag with rolls of film, load a roll into Dad’s Pentax K1000. I’ve decided that Dad’s camera is coming with me this time. Normally I would take my Nikon FG-20, but this time I think I want to take the camera that hurled me down the film rabbit hole a few years ago. Yeah. I am weird.

Anyway. Yesterday I bitched about how the Bruins suck now. Last night they beat Ottawa and jumped three places in the standings. Not only are they back in a playoff spot, but they above the wild card spots and back into third in the division. What a world, huh? We’ll see how long this lasts. The standings are pretty tight these days.

Okay. Time to get the ball rolling on this Friday. Vacation is less than 10 hours away.

I am about to close my luggage yet another time, closing yet another chapter of my life in yet another European city.

While #packing, in the last few days, I realized that I have had the incredible privilege of #moving on an average every six months (🤯) in the last four years, and I also took many life-changing trips in between.

The cities I call(ed) home are #Turin, #Venice, #Grenoble, #Berlin, Riva Ligure (#Sanremo), and now #Tallinn.

It is so hard to keep up with the huge amount of feelings and inputs this kind of life entails, especially while being in my 20s.

Still, I am glad, immensely grateful, and partly even thorn, because I would never have had any of this if it wasn’t for my #privilege.

I’m way too organised! My suitcase is packed & in the car for tomorrow. The odds & sods bag is on the couch waiting for the toiletry bag in the morning. My clothes for tomorrow are set out. I have the chiller bag waiting to take some food down to my house sit enough to last a day or two until I get groceries & some necessary bits & pieces I don’t like to do without are ready too. My prescription is ready to be picked up at 10.30am to take to the doctors for my injection. Then I can fill the car with petrol, have some lunch & I’m off to Tatura.
