Dismal Dominion awakes to a dismal gray dawn with 25C heat and 24C dew point. It’s 95 percent humidity but a new level of #FUGLY was reached today. Be prepared to chew each breath as 0700 humidity is truly oppressive.
DW has a urinary tract infection. Snake doctor suggested over the counter AZO for some comfort and ordered up some antibiotics in advance of microbiology results.
Yesterday’s MiraLax does has cleared up DW constipation.

Canada wild fires continue. And the smoke is present in our atmosphere. PM 2.5 has been creeping up indoors for several days. Today’s forecast is for moderate air quality (77) with outdoor PM 2.5 of 66. Thank you Canada. We’re miserable enough with #HHH #FUGLY Canadian woman, don’t need your wildfire smoke!
Rocky is hacking a lot when he’s out. It’s the smoke. And Rocky’s cooling by panting is impaired by the high humidity. And his lung tumors.

Missy came for supper when called. Slowly (#Greyhound slow) like the Dowager Duchess she is.
She’s been stinking us out. Staff made a devils choice between toxic gases or allergies. Allergy won and windows are cracked for cross ventilation while the air con is on siesta. Dew point is 17c so will take advantage of the cool and dry until the #HHH and the #FUGLY return. Glorious afternoon here.
Staff went for flue shot. COVID shot delayed until the new Pfizer jabs are released.
