I'm so glad I went to the #repaircafe / #fixitclinic at #artisansasylum tonight!
1. I had a Kitchenaid stand mixer Project which I picked up in 2016, made Significant progress back then but then Life Happened and I put it away half finished, so its been sitting in a box in the basement since then. Y'all, its back together and working at all speeds
2. Allston Christmas got me a portable record player earlier in the week, but no power cord. Now i have a power cord, and - the dang thing works fine. stylus in ok shape, built in speakers. not great souund quality but not potato quality either. and it pairs with bluetooth? fancy. #boston -

My first #FixItClinic !! Helped fix a hair dryer (and establish that a child's toy speaker was broken). Other stuff that came in: a couple of KitchenAid mixers, a bike, an air purifier, a couple CD players, and a cool green/blue light for looking ar fluorescent mice 😮
