No dice. I tried two different disks, one with FreeDOS 1.4 and another with MS-DOS 6.22. The laptop drive doesn't recognize either of them as a system disk.

This looks like something to sell at the #MITFlea / #Swapfest to someone who wants a project.

Starting to make my bin(s) for #mitflea / #swapfest next month. Hoping to get some gear from old curriculums and spare parts from projects out of the house!

In reality, I never played Out Run as a kid. But I did play a *LOT* of Rad Racer on my relatives' NES, and I loved the game. I picked this up yesterday at the MIT Flea/Swapfest yesterday, after I packed up my tables and did a quick run over to visit some other vendors I'm acquainted with.

The sticker on this one reads $12, but the vendor told me to give him $10 so he didn't need to make change. Happy to do so.

I'll have a few Skylanders Starter Packs for the Xbox 360. $5 will get you the disc in case, a portal, and two Skylanders. Did you recently pick up a cheap 360 to jailbreak it? Why not pick up a complete game with cool figurines?

The last MIT Flea / Swapfest of the year is this coming Sunday, October 19th. I will be selling! I want stuff out of my home! All unreasonable offers will be entertained and/or entertaining!

Among other things I will have are:

- a Power Macintosh 7200/90 with a 300 MHz G3 upgrade card

- a 400 MHz G4 Graphite desktop, in its original box

- a Miyoo PocketGo, the predecessor to the Miyoo Mini (i.e., a #GameDad)

Today's #MITFlea / #Swapfest wasn't as busy as I'm accustomed to. I was surprised at that, as were some of the vendors that I spoke with. Still, it was a good time, and I had a lot of fun conversations.

I will be attending the #MITFlea / #Swapfest tomorrow (Sunday, September 21st). I may buy a Zip disk for $1. Otherwise, I'm attending just to see the fun things. I'll try and post photos as I go.

@knizer had discussed a #Boston meetup at the Flea as well. I'm going to try and arrive at 9 or so in the morning, but I'll be there for a few hours. Hope to see some of you there!
