Hurrah! I just fixed something that's annoyed me for over a decade! 🙄
It feels good.
All things come to those who wait—and wait—and wait.
My front deck was poorly built (by a so called builder), & sagged over the years. The support beam mounting meant sagging was inevitable.
A stronger beam. A steel beam, or maybe, some bolts between the too widely spaced bolts holding the beam. A builder would know this. Hell, I know this.

I found 2 undocumented #PowerShell 5.1 bugs (1 I've known about for years). I decided to make a GitHub repo for these and future #pwsh bugs I find, with scripts showing how to easily reproduce them. I also created PRs to have the docs updated to mention them. #FeelsGood

Spent the evening upgrading the small program I use to sync Habitica with my Google calendar every week. Fixed a bug where certain items were ignored and filtered out requests that were unnecessary. Satisfying work. And in python, which I don't use often. Always feels good to implement a few things you've always meant to do.

You know why I like @forgejo so much? I just did a "fly-by" patch on the documentation because I was annoyed with how complicated that one page was written. So I forked the repo, cleaned up that page and submitted a Pull Request. And guess what? No discussions, no back and forth, it just got merged! Now THAT is how you attract new contributors to your Open Source project. Thank you! My first contribution!
