This last decade has given me a greater appreciation for the #Democratic party. #Biden, #Obama, #Hillary, #Kamala, #Pelosi, #Jeffries, #Schumer, etc... I don't know how they do it.
America is truly a broken country with major issues, and the citizens are indeed deplorable. Imagine trying to govern a population so ignorant that it elected #Trump president TWICE, the #Democrats are clearly better people than me.

I've been thinking about those people who refused to vote for Harris because she was still pro-zionist or not far enough to the left or whatever other reasons they gave.
And I hear the argument about avoiding the middle road, but for many of us, this isn't a theoretical exercise in theory. The reality is that the outcome of that election has had a direct, measurable body count. While the Democrats are deeply flawed, the alternative has resulted in the blood of millions. Choosing not to act, or voting for a candidate with no path to victory, was a functional choice for the current administration and the destruction that followed.
Think about all the lives that have been lost because the left was apathetic. She was a bad candidate and I would not vote for her in a primary, but she was the best choice and now we are suffering for it.

A common trait amongst MAGA and leftists is the prioritization of their beliefs over reality. Look at how leftists misrepresent Kamala's positions on Gaza, a simple 5 minute search on Google would relieve them of their beliefs.
Most recently I ran into a leftist who claimed that the Democrats refuse to call Republicans fascists. How do you interact with people when they have no desire to understand the truth and are willfully ignorant.

March 2024 (Selma, Alabama): She called for an immediate six-week ceasefire and issued a sharp rebuke of Israel, stating "no excuses" for the lack of aid reaching starving civilians.
2024 Campaign Trail: She repeatedly vowed to "do everything in my power to end the war" emphasizing the need for a two-state solution and the release of hostages.

Americans are not your allies.
Americans will support you because your gender fluidity, but never because of your struggle against their hegemonic foreign policy.
Americans will support your access to abortion, freedom of choice over your body, but not your freedom to not be collectively punished, ethnically cleansed, or have your rights under the UN Charter violated.I applaud and appreciate Americans that are ready to grapple with their state's interventionism abroad, and especially the ones that can recognise that while the means of the Republican and Democratic party might differ, their goals are pretty much always the same in terms of foreign policy.
Accounts here that would rather label my critique of US Empire as "vatnik soup" are, frankly, proof that when you scratch a liberal, a fascist bleeds, and sustaining the status quo (vote Blue no matter who) is more important than justice.

@Geoffberner @dangillmor Democrats and #Kamala #Harris did not support a genocide in #Gaza. #Democrats did not throw an election, they were just good at preaching stuff while paying zero attention to things that mattered. Like the price of a dozen eggs. Like how people have 3 jobs and various side hustles just to keep a roof over the head and put food on the table.
#Gaza was not the cause, it was a symptom of #Democrats mollycoddling to the rich.
