Finally got to watch some of my 4K collection.
Dune - Fantastic adaptation and visually stunning. Watched because Mrs Wife hasn't seen.
Twisters - We both really enjoy this film, a very good sequel.
Dune: Part 2 - Not a sequel, just an awesome continuation of the story. First watch.
How To Make A Killing - Glen Powell in a film that's just ok. You're not missing much.

Regina King does a remarkable job as Chisholm. I almost didn't recognize her. She's that good.
Also stars two of my favorites; the late Lance Reddick and the ever charming Terrance Howard. -

Ich hab soo viele Filme und Serien in meinen diversen Listen, die ich eigentlich unbedingt mal schauen möchte (aber alleine eben nie schaue). Auf Twitter gab es mal so Abende mit Hashtags, um gemeinsam Romcoms zu schauen, und obwohl das nicht so mein Genre ist, fand ich die Idee super. Hättet ihr da Lust drauf? Vielleicht unter #FediFilme, #FediFilmAbend, #FediWatchParty oder sowas?
I've got so many movies and series on my diverse lists, which I really want to watch (but never actually watch on my own). On twitter there used to be evenings with Hashtags to watch Romcoms together, and even though that is not my kind of genre, I really liked the idea. Would you be up for something like that on here? Maybe with a hashtag like #FediMovies, #FediMovieEvening, or #FediWatchParty or something like that?

The #FediMovies project is deployed at this domain https://alpha.fedimovies.rocks and the code is here https://code.caric.io/FediMovies It is very much a proof of concept at this point, and it does not do much. I'm still thinking about how to move on with the project and what I would like to do with it. I'm sorry to disappoint as it is not a product yet or anything substantial at this point.

@retiolus You don't need to have an account there at all. Playing with it consists of interacting with the movie profiles. I just need to make the movie profiles list public, as it is not accessible right now (I'm working on it).
Just mention any movie, and it will re-toot all your posts for anyone interested in the movie that following its profile.
Currently, that #FediMovies does. In the future, I plan to add support for a form of rating movies and other interactions.

Just finished watching The Whale.
Wow, what a HEAVY freaking movie, jeez. Probably one of the best movies I have ever seen. It really struck a few nerves, and is quite emotional.
Highly recommended, but be careful, it is really heavy and dark. #TheWhale #FediMovies #Sunday
