Had fun with #FallGuy but it remains a mystery to me which #films of this sort catch on critically. Sticking with #DavidLeitch, I don’t know why this had impassioned pleas for folk to go to the movies, but Bullet Train got a kicking, for instance. Gets by on the chemistry and comedic ability of #EmilyBlunt and #RyanGosling, but it’s a bit limp technically for a #film about a stunt man.

Had fun with #FallGuy but it remains a mystery to me which #films of this sort catch on critically. The current fall guy movie is so grotesque, coherent loose story with action sequences that leave you perplexed. It's a pity. Lee Majors was my idol at a young age, that was screwed up by this movie. This year's disappointment.

I can not say enough good things about the new movie The Fall Guy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is despite it being almost entirely unrelated to the early 80s TV series save for shared character names and an updated take on the theme song, which plays over the end credits.

For the average viewer it is basically wall to wall stunts except for some light romantic drama scenes that Gosling & Blunt make very watchable.
