I absolutely love that I'm still enjoying the shit outta Evil West (I know I won't shut up about it :thinkerguns:) Pumped I found a physical copy too. I needed it for my collection :catPOWER: Plus I've always been iffy on digital shit. I have to feel that plastic in my hands 😂 It's also really fun when you're high 😌 It's definitely going to be one of my fun circulating games throughout the years.

Jak pomarudziłem na Diablo 4, to polecę coś w zamian. Evil West, polska gra o walce z wampirami w westernowych realiach. Czysta akcja, czysty fun. Oklep złoli, zbierz znajdźki, kup ulepszenia sprzętu, wybierz perki i oklep kolejnych, przebijając się po kolei ku czterem bossom. Różny sprzęt, masa specjalnych ataków i ogólnie zadyma. Polecam.

Its underlying arena-based flowchart construction isn't something I always agree with, but its honest presentation of challenges, fun movement-based fighting, nicely paced unlocks to keep the experience fresh, good enemy variety that explores many different combinations of enemy placement to play with what each arena demands from the player, and a classic difficulty curve regardless of difficulty selection made an overall positive impact.

Just finished Evil West! Really enjoyed it! Got it whenever it was a PS Plus game. I def want to buy a physical copy (shame the prices are redonk online). Anyway, it was a lot of fun! I miss these types of games. I think the open world stuff really isn't my jam, or I'm just tired of it 🫠 No online/co-op only BS. This was a fun, beat'em up, adventure-ish type lol Nifty story, some light RPG (perks & weapon upgrades), was just an all around fun game for me 🎮

Playtime: 34mEvil West is third-person rails shooter (for want of a better term?), set in the USA's old west. This old west, however, is full of supernatural monsters that you have to kill in increasingly bloody ways.
This is not (at least so far) a game that will test your brain with complicated puzzles, and deep ethical questions.
See Jesse. See monster. See Jesse punch monster with gauntlet, or shoot monster. Rinse and repeat.
What the combat does test, however, is your coordination, and this was where I found myself struggling. I currently have it on Normal difficulty, but I'm stuck on one fight, and just can't get my timing right to beat all of the mobs.
Running around punching monsters into a mess of gore isn't usually my kind of game, but when I spent the weekend knowing there were Nazis running and transphobes saying the vilest things about trans folks just because we have the temerity to exist, sometimes punching a few monsters into piles of goop hits the spot.
The old west atmosphere and landscape is well done, and the game comes together very nicely.
