Death Stranding 2 with a trainer is the most fun way to play. you can take away some micromanaging garbage while still keeping the thrills and freaking out when your backpack starts flashing.

basically if you eliminate the keeping balance crap (which gets old within the first 5 minutes, let's be honest) and throw in ammo and materials you end up with a fun romp to lose yourself in and just soak in the Kojima-ness.

Plus removing Chiral bandwidth limits and making fucking ziplines everywhere is so goddamn satisfying.

I also do it offline in order to make it "my" expansion of the world which I feel is the better way to play.

am I playing it 100% the way they intended? hell no. it's cheating. I know it is. it's also my game on my system being played in my free time so screw you, I play how I want.

Irgendwie habe ich gerade keinen Bock ein anderes langes Solo Spiel neu zu beginnen, weil ich weiß das es nicht so gut werden wird wie das Spiel !

Even though Death Stranding 2 was announced with a lot of technical upgrades for PC, I'm honestly put off by the price on Steam (79,99€) which is a lot.

I bet that for the same price or even something less I could get both the first episode (Director's Cut) and the second for PS5 as a used hard copy.

And to be honest, really owning the games in that way is a huge plus.

I think one thing pretty annoying of the newer #HideoKojima #games including #MGSV and #DeathStranding, due to their online nature and... 'chapter' kind of format, is that it's really not obvious how to, or if you could even, start a fresh playthrough (ideally, without losing your save).

With the older #MetalGearSolid games, you just... start a new game/save and it'll be the exact same experience as when you've first started playing it. The newer ones though, I'm not even sure if starting a new game is even a thing.. Otherwise, I guess my only option is to backup my save(s) and delete them so it creates a new one - if that is even possible.
