This is very similar to a piece I created and posted here a couple of weeks ago, using the same baking soda technique, but I used a wider and brighter range of colors. I used canes of green, rose and blue glass with encased strands of opaque white to make the beads for this 18-inch necklace. The white strands give the beads a sense of movement. The colors suggest the holidays, but this could be worn anytime.
