On Monday, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) called on House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) to 🔸“investigate political censorship” on X, 🔸citing reports that the company’s #chatbot, ♦️Grok, falsely told users Harris was ineligible to appear on the 2024 presidential ballot. ♦️
The chatbot shared the false information for more than a week until it was corrected in late July.
In addition to the apparent restriction on the Harris campaign account and erroneous Grok replies,
♦️some pro-Harris accounts have been labeled as spam, ♦️including ones called “White Dudes for Harris” and “Progressives for Harris”Nadler’s office cited 👉Jordan’s “extensive focus on allegations of censorship on social media this Congress.”
Nadler voiced similar concerns in a letter last month
after some users reported

@deonandan #FordGovernmentCriminalDerelictionOfDuty is the norm for officials elected to serve the population. There must be consequences for this #egregious neglect that has so increased hardship, and even caused death for some. While #FordGovernmentCriminals fill their silk-lined pockets with our hard-earned dollars, Ontario struggles to find a family doctor. Ford deliberately underspent in provincial healthcare by S1.7 BILLION. And that’s but one area of criminal neglect.
