The problem with these kinds of low calorie beers is that they tend to inflate the hops, and the result is a very biting beer that doesn't have much flavor.

Back to the Lizard as we move into pumpkin beer season.

Dogfish Head Punkin Ale Pumpkin Beer (2025 Winking Lizard Beer Tour 325) – First pumpkin brew of the 25 autumn season. Sweet with a little spice to add some body to the flavor.

Fat Heads Spooky Tooth Pumpkin Beer (2025 Winking Lizard Beer Tour 327) – Not as spicy as Punkin Ale, but definitely stronger. Drink responsibly.

I don't think we're going to get the amount of juice that we could get from an IPA with a simple pale ale, and I'm even more confused with the grains that they proudly say they added.

I deeply miss the Dogfish Head Raison d'Etre.

It was hard to find in the US outside the Northeast, and now living in Canada, you simply can't find it, and can't have it shipped here...

Now that false summer is upon us, we figured it was a good time to break out the Grateful Dead Juicy Pale by #dogfishhead. Overall, a beer that has strong orange and tropical notes, along with some pine resin and stone fruit.
