Der Association haben wir vermutlich schon mal gespendet, es ist wie so oft erschreckend, dass die glanzvollen Seiten einer Sache groß herausgekehrt werden, und die 'problematischeren' wieder externalisiert.

Vermutlich auch für @gavinkarlmeier, @netzfeuilleton, @TommyKrappweis und @derweisheit interessant.

Hi there #fediverse I need a little help. I've been working fast food for a long time now, and I'm looking for something new. I'm currently a #computerscience student in my first year of college and I have a history with coding in c++ and python.

My only requirements are that it is not fast food. I have history with remote work and am very self driven. I am a decently skilled video and image editor, and I've played around with unity and unreal before. I am currently working on a few passion projects, one of which will be a game engine focused on 2D action RPGs (think secret of mana)

I've also been a content moderator on a huge social media platform and a customer service representative for two separate calls centers. Both were remote work and I've never had a problem meeting goals or staying self motivated.

My resume is available on request, and I'm open to working on open source projects (with a little guidance) to help polish up my portfolio. I'm also open to internships, preferably paid, but I'll take what I can get.

Es war bewegend, als #Contentmoderatoren im #Digitalausschuss über ihre Arbeitsbedingungen berichteten. Klar ist: Keine #KI kann sie ersetzen: #ContentModerator:innen leisten eine anspruchsvolle Arbeit, räumen den Müll weg, damit wir ihn nicht sehen müssen. Psychologische Betreuung, Gesundheitsschutz, angemessene Bezahlung? Fehlanzeige.

#facebook tried to dodge case brought against it by sacked #contentModerator Daniel in #kenya because it "doesn't operate in Kenya" - despite having its African Moderation hub in #nairobi Thankfully, they failed and the case can now proceed
