For my mid-August article for the local paper, I profiled Velvet Wallpaper #IPA, the collaboration #beer from #DoubleMountainBrewery and #VanHenionBrewing. It’s a west coast style IPA and Double Mountain sent me a bottle to sample in conjunction with the release.

The first of my print articles for local paper in August focused on a collaboration #beer cooked up between #BoneyardBeer and #YMarketBrewing of Japan—Yokozuna IPA, brewed for the Fuji to Hood Festival and released on draft at Boneyard’s pub and taproom. Every collab brewed for the festival incorporated at least one Japanese ingredient, and Yokozuna showcases Sumo Citrus and Cara Cara orange.

#CascadeLakesBrewing is getting close to opening its new east Bend pub, and for the opening the company plans to release a new collaboration #beer brewed with #OldStandbyBrewing of Salem, Helles for Habitat. I wrote about this in my latest article for my local paper, out this week.
