#ElysianBrewing has a new year-round #beer out, a hazy IPA named Jacktail, featuring fruity and tropical hop flavors with 6.1% ABV and 40 IBUs. It joins the company’s lineup on draft and in 12 and 19.2 ounce cans, and I recently received samples to review.

#10BarrelBrewing is introducing a “light” version of its popular Pub Beer, aptly named Pub Light; billed as a “lighter, baby brother” to Pub Beer, Pub Light is 4% ABV and 99 calories, directly positioned to compete in the American light lager market.
I recently received samples of the new Pub Light, and along with those came the opportunity to take a blind taste test: “Pub Light vs the #1 Domestic Giant in the PNW.”

#PublicCoastBrewing is turning 10 this year, and is kicking off the year-long celebration by bringing back weekly live music as well as releasing special beers that “are going to be celebrations of the fan and brewer favorites from the last decade.” The brewery starts things off with the return of StackStock Candy Cap Stout and a new (non-alcoholic) Peach Cream Soda.

When Portland’s #VonEbertBrewing released its 2026 beer calendar at the beginning of the year, there was a slot for specialty variations of its award-winning Volatile Substance IPA, with the first set to release in March. That time has come, and the brewery announced the release of the first of the three—Tropical Substance IPA.

I recently received a six-pack of Sunglider Golden Lager from #FirestoneWalkerBrewing, a limited-release seasonal #beer brewed with sustainable malt and hops. Part of the company’s Brewing for Tomorrow initiative, Sunglider is brewed with California-grown “Butta-12” barley that is floor malted, and Salmon-Safe hops from Oregon’s Goschie Farms.

#DoubleMountainBrewery dipped into its archives for the next #beer in its “From the Vault” series, Gravitar Galactic IPA. Originally released as an experimental beer in 2012, brewed with HBC 342 hops; this time around, it’s brewed with Galaxy, Strata, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Deep Cut Cascade hops.

Seattle’s #ElysianBrewing is dipping its toe into the #NonAlcoholicBeer pool with the release of its first NA beer, Easy Dust IPA, a #nonalcoholic addition to its Space Dust lineup—just in time for Dry January. It’s listed with less than 0.5% (of course) and 25 IBUs, brewed with Citra, Centennial, and Amarillo hops.

#NonAlcoholicBeer brewer #RationAleBrewing launched a new #beer in its lineup this summer, an NA Japanese Style Dry Lager. Based on the label, it’s “Batch 01” of a new Maverick Series from the company, which is “a new line of limited-edition brews that will rotate exclusively into the brand’s first-ever 12-pack Variety Pack.”

Oregon’s #PublicCoastBrewing released a new limited-edition pastry stout this month, inspired by the fluffernutter sandwich (that’s peanut butter and marshmallow) — Fluff N’ Good Stout. It’s brewed with peanut butter and freeze-dried marshmallows and is 9% alcohol by volume.

#BaleBreakerBrewing is releasing its latest beer, a fresh interpretation of the company’s original Field 41 #PaleAle — Yakima Pale Ale. Reimagined as a lighter, crisper version of the original, this YPA as the brewery calls it has 4.2% alcohol by volume and 100 calories, while maintaining its hop character.

#MashGang is a new (to me) brewer of #NonAlcoholic beers, founded in 2020 and dedicated to crafting NA beers that are “Expertly brewed to strength at 0.5% ABV using natural ingredients” (0.5% being the legal limit to be called non-alcoholic). The company is based in the United Kingdom and contract brews its beers in the U.S. for the American market.

#PublicCoastBrewing released two new dark beers for the winter, stRANGER Tides Chocolate Cherry Stout and Dunkel Dreams spiced lager. These were brewed in collaboration with Portland companies Ranger Chocolate and Smith Teamaker, respectively, and feature specialty ingredients from each. I received cans of the new beers to review.

The #FreshHop beers from #DoubleMountainBrewery have returned, and in conjunction with the releases, the brewery sent me a bottle of this year’s Killer Green Fresh Hop IPA. The other standards are back as well—Killer Red Fresh Hop IRA, and Fresh Hop Iowa Bar Fight—and this year, there’s going to be a fresh hop edition of Velvet Wallpaper IPA too.

The latest non-alcoholic beer to come from #TwoRoadsBrewing is an NA version of its flagship beer, Road 2 Ruin Zero. This NA IPA joins Non-Alcoholic Juicy IPA in the brewery’s lineup, and the company sent me a couple of cans to sample.

Here’s a fun new #IPA from #DoubleMountainBrewery, in which the company collaborated with Bend’s own #VanHenionBrewing: Velvet Wallpaper IPA. Fittingly, it’s a west coast style IPA, playing to the strengths of both breweries.

#PublicCoastBrewing recently released its first-ever #shandy, incorporating blueberries from the Public Coast Farm to come up with Blueberry Fields Forever. Shandy is traditionally a 50/50 blend of beer and lemonade or lemon/citrus soft drink, though Public Coast’s version tweaks this recipe during the brewing process.
