Regarding #PDX (Portland), we start by suggesting #BeerMongers and #Apex (beer bars and bottle shops). Both have a plethora of local and exceptional beers.
Breweries are a bit tougher because has their charm. But #UprightBrewing never disappoints, nor does #ChuckanutBrewing (based out of Bellingham, Washington), #GreatNotion (if you like confection-inspired beer or hazy ipas), #BreaksideBrewery, #CascadeBrewing (fruited source), and finally #LivingHaus and #WayfinderBeer.
For #Seattle, we suggest #PikeBrewing because it's one of the oldest and in the Pike Place Market, #Cloudburst (2 locations), #HolyMountainBrewing, #FairIsleBrewing or #StoupBrewing (or pretty much most in the #Ballard area). But if you're focused on East Seattle, then #RavennaBrewing, #BurkeGilman, #LaddAndLassB #GeorgetownBrewing, or #BigTimeBrewing. Don't forget about bottle shops/draught-houses #bottleworksbeer, #ChucksHopShop, #BrouwersCafe, and #StumblingMonk (#CapitolHill). -
Portland’s #BreaksideBrewery is replacing Salted Caramel Stout in its seasonal #beer lineup this year, and the new LIFE #Barleywine is taking its place. Over the next four months the brewery will be releasing five additional variants showcasing different #malts.
