First #FreshHop #beer of the season! Fresh Hop Strata Valley Fog Hazy IPA from #HettyAliceBeer is currently pouring in #BendOregon at On Tap. It's got a lightly spicy note of fresh greens (dandelion) with a hint of dried grass or hay and stone fruit wrapped up in a hazy package. Cheers! 🍻

Portland’s #LivingHäusBeer brewed up #FreshHop Cole IPA in collaboration with #HumbleSeaBrewing using fresh Centennial hops from #GoschieFarms, and the result is a bright IPA that’s piney, dank, and herbal. It’s a nice addition to the fresh hop fridge this year. Cheers! 🍻

One of the best things about #FreshHop season is that fresh hop beers are available everywhere! I enjoyed these two at On Tap (taphouse and food cart pod in #BendOregon) a couple of weeks back – #StormBreakerBrewing Fresh Hop Oregon IPA and #GreatNotionBrewing Fresh Hop Easy Lift IPA – and now, On Tap has 7(!) fresh hop beers pouring. It really is the best season! Cheers! 🍻

Another of the #FreshHop beers brewed up by #BossRamblerBeerClub this year with the brewery’s liquid nitrogen freeze-and-shatter method is Liquid Fresh, a double dry-hopped west coast IPA brewed with fresh Strata hops from #ColemanAgriculture. I found it to have an herbal aroma along with earthy flavors featuring a touch of peppery spice. It’s less in-your-face than others I’ve had this year but well-brewed. Cheers! 🍻

The #FreshHop beers from #DoubleMountainBrewery have returned, and in conjunction with the releases, the brewery sent me a bottle of this year’s Killer Green Fresh Hop IPA. The other standards are back as well—Killer Red Fresh Hop IRA, and Fresh Hop Iowa Bar Fight—and this year, there’s going to be a fresh hop edition of Velvet Wallpaper IPA too.

I'm still posting the various #FreshHop beers I've been enjoying this year, and I really liked this year's Fresh Hop Triple Double Imperial IPA from #StormBreakerBrewing. It's got a big fresh lupulin aroma with an herbal touch of yarrow. The flavor has a nice big bitterness with a punch of fruity herb and candied apricot. Cheers! 🍻

Another outstanding #FreshHop #beer this year from #CruxFermentationaProject, Fresh Is Best Fresh Hop IPA. Brewed with fresh #GoschieFarms Centennial hops, it has aromas of wet evergreen forest and chlorophyll, and pops in the flavor with fresh, herbal pine notes and a hint of orange peel. Cheers! 🍻

This #FreshHop Tettnang Italian Pils from #FermentBrewing is bright and crisp with a lightly peppery, minty fresh character from the hops. Fresh hop lager styles are always fun because the lighter malt profile helps to let the hops shine. Cheers! 🍻

Run, don’t walk, to get some #FreshHop Electric Fields IPA from #ThresholdBrewing, brewed with fresh Centennial #hops from #CrosbyHops. This is my favorite of the season so far, with a big punch of essential oils, a touch of dank, and fresh evergreen notes. This is one to try! Cheers! 🍻

This #FreshHop Lager from #LevelBeer is brewed with fresh Tettnang #hops from #GoschieFarms, and I really enjoyed it! The hops impart a spicy, almost minty character with a note of tobacco. It’s a really nice use of the fresh Tettnang hop and a highlight so far. Cheers! 🍻

For my tenth #FreshHop #beer (10! Already! Can you believe it?), I enjoyed Fresh Hop Deadline Day from #AwayDaysBrewing, a pale ale brewed with fresh Centennial hops from #GoschieFarms. I found it to be fairly mellow with a bit of grassy chlorophyll character from the hops. Cheers! 🍻

This #FreshHop Pilsner from #OccidentalBrewing of #PortlandOregon is a nice one, brewed with fresh Hallertau hops from #GoschieFarms that give it a subtle spiciness and a fresh herbal-floral note. I believe it's the first fresh Hallertau hopped #beer I've had this year. Cheers! 🍻

Earlier this week I found this #FreshHop #beer in #Tacoma at #SigBrewing: Fresh Hop Pilscifer, the fresh version of its flagship Pilscifer pilsner. It's brewed with fresh Centennial hops and I found a freshly cut green grass character with a bit of herb in the profile. Cheers! 🍻

Earlier this week we treated my brother to some #FreshHop birthday beers at the #HorseBrassPub in #PortlandOregon. I enjoyed Fresh Hop Phaedrus IPA from #CulminationBrewing, brewed with fresh Strata hops, and Fresh Hop Extra StormBreaker (ESB) from #StormBreakerBrewing, brewed with fresh Tettnang hops. Bend's #WorthyBrewing has Fresh Hopped Worthy Pilsner on tap now, its first #FreshHop #beer of the year. Brewed with Lorien #hops from #GoschieFarms, it's fragrant with red berries and fresh herbs, and the flavor has a big fresh herb character as well, with fresh oregano notes to my taste. Cheers! 🍻

I had this #FreshHop hazy #IPA yesterday: Fresh Hop Van Beer from #GreatNotionBrewing, brewed with fresh Strata hops from #ColemanAgriculture. Super hazy, pretty fruity, but the issue I have with fresh hop hazies is that I find the fresh hops tend to get lost amongst the other copious amounts of dry hops. It's a good #beer though! 🍻

Today's #FreshHop #beer is a fresh hop #pilsner from #ViceBeer, Fresh to Death. It's brewed with fresh #Tettnanger #hops from #GoschieFarms, which offer up some nice spicy notes and light watercress. It's a nice one for a hot day. Cheers!

And just like that, it's #FreshHop season! My first fresh hop #beer of the year is Fresh Hop Eliot IPA from #ExNovoBrewing with an assist from #LazyDaysBrewing of Portland. It's brewed with fresh Centennial #hops from #GoschieFarms and it's pretty fresh, canned only 10 days ago. Cucumber peel is one of the flavors I'm getting out of it, which is pretty distinctive. This week I received a #FreshHop #beer from Hood River’s #DoubleMountainBrewery, the new Iowa Bar Fight Fresh Hop #IPA, a collaboration with #SoleraBrewery of nearby Parkdale. Iowa Bar Fight was brewed with fresh #Strata hops sourced from #CrosbyHops.

My third #FreshHop #beer of the season was Handfuls of Fresh Hops #IPA from #StormBreakerBrewing, brewed with fresh #CentennialHops. StormBreaker has released a bunch of fresh hop beers this year, but this first one tasted pretty good! Cheers!

My second #FreshHop beer of the season was Lookin' Fresh Fresh Hop #IPA from #SingleHillBrewing, an ale that was actually brewed in July using frozen fresh hops (presumably from last year's harvest). Does that count?
