It's sad, but there are so many that can't tell a bot is posting an AI generated comment on a video just to be noticed and masquerade as a 'real user'. I can tell basically immediately; there are always people who waste their time correcting the nonsense, hallucination engine comments.

Or worse, lending visibility to the bot, which features other bots that have malicious links for unsuspecting users to click. It's a disgusting kind of enterprise. ROFL If I were employed to combat bots at YouTube, my job security would be through the roof. The bot account waves are getting more frequent because I report a ton of them almost every day.

They even pull out ancient accounts that I end up getting banned because the malicious actor behind it can't help themselves.

Has anyone noticed a specific type of spam bot following people by the name "Jimmy Truth"? They always have the same copypasta bio besides a slight modification of location. I've had like, 7+ of them follow me and I've reported and blocked every single one.

Weighed up the ethics of doing #ReuseRepair more effectively vs being on a #GenocideAdjacent #Facebook.

And got an account so I can get secondhand materials.

Made no posts, linked no friends, just Bookmarked secondhand stuff. And contacted a seller.

Account lasted a day before it was #SuspendedByFacebook.

Looks like they're using AI to try and stop #BotAccounts and #FakeAccounts.

And they're unable to distinguish between fake and genuine.

It allows for moderation as well as users being associated with groups and topics. People can be banned and blocked. Also by mentioning #botaccounts and connecting your posts in that manner allows for other fun things.

More on my previous post on #botaccounts. Try doing a search for Ursula von der Leyen. There are six accounts. All #bots. 5 are marked as bots. Then there is her #respublicae account, which is also a bot, yet it is not marked as such, so you can't even filter, because it is a #mirror.

#Internet #Security thoughts I've never seen proposed, for some reason.

1) #PIN + chip and #RFID cards exist.
2) These are used as #PhotoID.
3) #Governments issue photo #ID.
4) Governments have internet access.
5) Why not have the government issue an ID card which can be read by your computer and phone, which can be used to verify your identity to online organizations?
