Manchmal schaffen wir es dann doch in ein Eisenbahnmuseum. Wenn das von der nationalen Eisenbahngesellschaft betrieben wird und demgemäss verlässliche und halbwegs lange Öffnungszeiten hat (tgl. 10 bis 18 Uhr), dann geht sich das nach dem Waschen von Körper und Wäsche noch aus, vor allem, wenn die Etappe nicht lang war. Knapp wird es heute dann trotzdem, weil es zunächst noch gilt den gefühlt 30. Starkregenguss des Tages abzuwarten – mehr als ein Paar klatschnasser Schuhe können wir uns nicht leisten.

Es gibt also: einen Rundlokschuppen mit diversen Erzeugnissen verschiedener Lokomotivfabriken in den Habsburgischen Erblanden, die nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg an die Jugoslawische Eisenbahn […]

Good afternoon from Lake Bled, Slovenia, where we've just done a partial circuit and enjoyed a reward of the local cream cake they make here along with some local beers too. Weather has been spitty and cold with it but the views have been great. Not sure I'd want to visit in the heart of summer as it would be a tourist and traffic hellhole then.
