I recently took a drive along the Long Island beaches to capture some photos. The wind was intense, but I managed to get a few good shots. Two of them really stood out to me. The historic Winterthur train station is dwarfed by the early evening sky.
Built in 1867, the Wilmington and Northern Railroad, of which Henry Francis du Pont's father was president, used the line primarily to transport freight for the property, although there are accounts of visitors arriving at Winterthur by train.
