Nach „Bad Dream: Coma" neulich habe ich gleich mit „Bad Dream: Fever" weitergemacht. Der Zeichenstil ist hier wesentlich üppiger, nicht mehr so minimalistisch.
Beim Fröhlichkeitsgrad bleibt sich die Reihe treu: Eine Art Tinte hat alle Leute dahingerafft, überall begegnen wir Toten. Lediglich eine Frau mit absurder Maske lebt noch und gibt uns Aufträge, die wir für sie erledigen sollen, um dem Geheimnis der Tinte auf die Spur zu kommen und ein weiteres Voranschreiten der Seuche vielleicht aufzuhalten - und unser Leben zu retten.
Praktisch beim Inventarsystem: Wenn das zur Lösung einer Teilaufgabe benötigte Utensil in Besitz ist, wird es bei einer durchzuführenden Aktion automatisch ausgewählt. Das Durchprobieren, was zur Aufgabe passen könnte, entfällt also.
Die Geschichte fängt mit Erkundung und leichtem Geknobel an, bringt aber zügig überraschende Wendungen mit zusätzlichen Ebenen. Zwischendurch hatte ich mal leichte Schwierigkeiten zu folgen, auf welcher Ebene der Meta-Schichten ich mich jeweils gerade befinde. Es kamen Erinnerungen an „Impostor Factory" hoch, das die Verschachtelung zum Ende hin aber noch ein paar Drehungen weiter treibt.
Auch bei diesem Spiel wurde ich gut unterhalten. Nicht mehr ganz so makaber wie „Coma", aber immer noch ordentlich morbid. 🙂

Just woke up from a dream about being completely invalidated by my mother. I don’t remember what she was invalidating me about to be honest. It happened so often as a kid that now I have these dreams that something serious is happening and she’s completely just ignoring me. Oh I think I know what it was now. Anyway it used to happen so often so all the dreams I have about it really bug me. She really liked to do it when I was trying to get her attention in a room full of people, and I would be patiently waiting all day trying to get her attention and then when I would finally snap and say something louder like “hello! I really need to talk to you!“ She would act like I was being incredibly rude. She always made me feel like what I had to say never mattered. #MommyIssues #BadDream
