Ever break the wax of a taper candle but not the wick so that you can move the candle and top piece ticks back and forth?

I feel a bit like that right now. I can feel (hear?) my back clicking if I rock back and forth. I've had many x-rays and been told there is nothing wrong with my spine. Does any one else's do stuff like this?
