A bit of tart fruit on the nose, tangy medium berry body with a hint of coffee but nary a sign of vanilla. Let it warm to squeeze out what berry flavor there is. Not outstanding

My wife LOVES the chocolate notes. To me it’s coffee forward with a chocolate chaser. Definitely on the repeat list.
Now on a quest to find the salted caramel brownie version!

AleSmith Brewing Speedway Stout with coffee, chocolate and caramel, and a nice touch of bitter and carbonation.
Serve 55 degrees and up, had to let it warm up to balance out and reveal the caramel.
One for the keeper list in the “coffee stout” column.
