#MarenSchilling schreibt, daß sie genervt ist, weil sie jetzt mit niemandem trinken gehen könne.

"Denn allein #trinken macht überhaupt keinen #Spaß. Allein trinken würde sich für mich nach #Alkoholproblem anfühlen. Und das habe ich nicht." Doch der ganze Artikel wirkt auf mich exakt so 🤷

On our way to #euchre at Mud Lake yesterday. It was also the end of #DryJanuary . #Labatt #PureMichigan Euchre Day is always the best day of the week. During football season we play on Sunday; the rest of the year it’s usually Saturday. We had guest player Larry with us yesterday so when my BFB had enough (she’s still healing from that fall) Larry stepped in as my partner. A very fun day! Have a great Sunday, everyone.

I was planning a blowout last night before #DryJanuary but do you know what? I just couldn't manage it. So I'm feeling chipper today!

Last year (my first dry jan) was paired with #30DaySketchbookChallenge and as it was so successful I'm doing it again.
I may post the results here but usually they go onto Instagram @slightlyoddart #SlightlyOddArt

Time to get started...

I have mentioned before that I have signed up again for Susan Yeates' #30DaySketchBookChallenge starting 1st January.
I did this last year as a way of taking my mind off my first #DryJanuary and to develop some sketching habit.
It was incredible and I achieved both aims. Easily.

Anyone fancy joining me for either or both?

I find winter difficult.
Normally I get to Christmas and then struggle until March.
What I mean by this is a profound lack of motivation. I'm not unhappy just unmotivated.
But it's started early this year.

Last year I joined #30daysketchbookchallenge with Susan Yeates in January which was amazing and I combined it with my first ever #dryJanuary, which I'd previously declared impossible on the basis that its, well, January.

I think a lot of the time it's just forcing yourself to do something
