My home office internet gateway NIC stopped functioning correctly*. Would be cool if that could mean “ohhh sorry can’t work today”. Like a “snowday” during school.
But nooooo, there are workarounds and alternatives. #damnit
*I wish I was knowledgeable enough to repair it :-/ That could count as work!

Während eines Telefonats habe ich gerade eine Zahl auf meinen Zettel geschrieben, weil ich was Wichtiges nicht vergessen wollte.
Dann gab es 4 weitere Telefonate & 3 Menschen, die in mein Büro kamen um was zu besprechen.
Ich weiß bei aller Liebe nicht mehr im Ansatz, wofür diese Zahlen sind. 🙄

A weeks ago I accidentally left my meds in the car. The hot, hot car. In the middle of summer.
And it's *very* clear the effect this has had on them.
I have been at my least effective/productive and most tired for a week now, and it's killing me.
I've wasted more time in a week than at least the previous couple months.
And not wasted on relaxing or enjoying life - wasted on things that brought little joy or rest. Pure crap!
Another week until the next appointment.

You know what is more frustrating than ruining a Dual Sense trying to do a Hall Effect stick swap? Getting it *almost* right. Got new flux and a nice 10x lighted magnifying lens on a base with 4 magnetic articulated clamp arms. Took more effort than the guides say, but got the sticks off. HE sticks soldered on. Put it all back together. Powered on. Tested it at Gamepad Tester site. One stick is *just* off center, but everything works.. except the left shoulder buttons. #DIY #Tech #DamnIt

The parts unit also has the cartridge tube stuck. Trying an isopropyl alcohol soak, may add thermal cycling on top of that to dislodge. I also ordered some internal pipe wrenches which might work but will have to think that through, as I don't want to make the problem worse like the prior owner of my first unit did and I don't want to scratch or deform anything even a little.

Today is one of those days where I'm mad at society and myself. Mad at society for imposing gender rules on clothes and mad at myself that I struggle so much to overcome them.
I bought myself such a cute #pole outfit but as soon as I see myself in a cropped sports top a voice in my head screams "you're not a woman and that's womens clothing! You're making a fool out of yourself!"
Which is not true and I know that. But still...

Right now I am paying a VPN provider money so I can watch Masterchef, twice a year. I would prefer to give that money to you so I can watch it without all the hassle.

Honestly I'm kinda...
Okay, I think I'm done with this book. It's not a lesbian romance, it's a fantasy with lesbian subplot being marketed as lesbian romance. I'm 1/3 through the book and the MCs have met once in passing for less than five minutes.
In and of itself, that's annoying, but not cause for me to drop the book. But the way the author is handling the 'revelation' of magic to this one MC...
So, so, so many fails. Plot holes. Unbelievable character bits...
