It's simply a part of your history like many other fascinating aspects of you.

Edit: this was written after reading some weird transmisogynistic rant, which kept using the acronym "AGAB", which I now know apparently just means "assigned gender at birth". Please disregard.

Okay, I feel like I need to be enlightened on whatever this... I don't think I can call it "discourse" at this point, so let's just say "internet words".
I know what #AMAB and #AFAB mean, but what the fuck is "#AGAB"? Did new bigot terms just drop??
I know I don't want to know but I feel like I have to to understand what I'm reading here.

There will be times when you wonder if you are really nonbinary. You could misgender yourself, have a dream where you were your agab, respond to your birth name, or the wrong pronouns. Any number of events could spur this self doubt.That’s ok.
Does slipping back into a bad habit on occasion mean you can never break it? Absolutely not. You screwed up, but who doesn’t? Old habits die hard, but they can definitely die.

Nonbinary people are truly amazing.
Having the courage to explore and accept that you are not only different from your agab, but also removed from the binary is incredible.
If you can, enjoy this accomplishment. Take some time to appreciate how far you have come and against so many odds.
You are powerful people. Don’t ever forget that.

You don't need to feel ashamed if you are nonbinary and your assigned gender happens to be a large part of you.
You don't have to give up anything about yourself to fit a label.
Being nonbinary is about finding yourself and becoming a more complete person. Sacrificing who you are is the antithesis to the nonbinary label.
Be yourself. Be everything you are.

And you don't have to place any importance on it if you don't want to.

Your assignment was beyond your control and without your consent.
Leave your role in the binary behind, and grow.

If you identify with your agab in some way, but you are also more than just that, you aren’t really “just” your agab.
You don’t have to sacrifice one part of yourself because people are only willing to accept another peice of you.
You’re not a damn pie, or some neapolitan ice cream.
Don’t settle for being a fragmented person.
