  1. Ok, I have a question for my uterus-having friends. Maybe any MDs who have some insight. Do you get more depressed on birth control, no matter what kind it is?? I swear, every time a doctor tells me a certain kind won't have that effect on me, they're wrong!

  2. If you get inspired and start on your own spiritual journey, please take heed: lots of grifters out there cashing in people's desperation. Or even, well-meaning teachers who cause damage by making vulnerable people even more so. Those of us socialised women, neurodivergent, queer, we need encouragement to be more assertive, to stand up for ourselves. 1-3

  4. CW: re: transmasc bottom surgery

@trans @transmasc @nonbinary For anyone curious, I was going through my "trans homework" I have to do before talking to the psychologist:

  5. CW: transmasc bottom surgery poll, metoidioplasty poll

If you've had a simple metoidioplasty (no urethra extension), do you pee your pants by accident, due to the surgery?

  6. The #FederalGrant awarded to the #PauliMurrayCenter in 2024 has been cancelled. Would someone explain to me how commemorating someone whose innovative legal arguments are the bedrock of all #CivilRights cases/laws in the 20th Century, & the first #AfricanAmerican #Black #multiracial #female #AFAB #priest of the #EpiscopalChurch who was added to our list of saints in 2018, is not anti-Christian or un-American? episcopalnewsservice.org/2025/

  7. Hey there all, time for another post of #noahtips. I personally do not have a #uterus nor was I #afab so hopefully you will pardon my offering tips or advice to people who do have a uterus.

There is an ovulation tracking app called "Ovia" that recently updated their terms and mandates you provide the state you live in, in order to continue to use the app. The claim from them is this is because the US states have differing privacy laws.

However, the parent company of the app is LabCorp. LabCorp in turn runs a #PAC that donates a larger percentage of its available funds to #Republicans than it does to #Democrats, which held true in this past election where they donated more to #Trump than they did to #Harris (supporting documentation here: opensecrets.org/political-acti).

So my tip today would be for you to dig into that a bit if you plan to continue using that app. Though I will also say that if I had a uterus and was using a tracking app that had donated to Republican interests at all, I would be deleting it and requesting a purge of my data well before January 20th 2025.

  8. @arina Absolutely.
Since I was a child in the late 1950s to the present day, I've watched Cis women and girls viciously policing the gender expression of other cis women and girls, their internalized misogyny on full display.

My mother complained about it, but then did it to others, scorning her mother as unfeminine for a distinguished career as an Army officer (WAC) during WWII, then as an executive in government service.

Cis women in the hundreds of millions, base their entire lives on conforming to white patriarchal ideals of femininity to a self destructive, even life threatening degree, without having their woman card revoked by both white and non-white men and women.

I object to the idea of #trans women being held to a higher standard than cis women.

We have the fundamental human right to be just as messy and complicated in life as those Assigned Female At Birth #AFAB.

  9. Where are you, other transmasc people?! I can't seem to find very many AFAB trans people on the fediverse yet :bg3_astarionB: We have to be somewhere. I have to find others like me... There have to be other trans masc people who like art or Baldur's gate 3 or animal crossing or trains or tamagotchis or vegan stuff or anarchy/leftist stuff or maybe even all of those things. I can't be the only one. There's no way. I'm just so new though, I have no idea where we are. :blobhaj_reach_sad:

I will now use a bunch of tags in attempt to find you all. Please, boost and/or follow me, and I will follow you, and we will be a big trans family. Bonus points if you're nonbinary :3

No minors as sometimes my art is NSFW (always behind a content warning though).

I originally said I wanted people who also liked things like kubernetes, python, and linux, but I decided to keep that stuff on my main account. Please feel free to DM me for that account if you wanna be moots on tech stuff too. :)

**updated to include a couple of other important notes x2

  10. CW: candid talk about polyamory and the difference between having sex with AFABs and AMABs

(Before someone gets annoyed. Yes, I'm simplifying. I'm not considering the effects of HRT for instance, but I'm not writing a treatise about everything, okay?)

Baby boy and I had a mild tiff yesterday.

He's gay. I'm pansexual. We're polyamorous. Maybe some of you already see where this is going. I'm sure I'm not the only pansexual guy getting it on with a gay guy. :headache:

I was mentioning the baby girl I plan to bed on Sunday. He said I sounded *excited*. To tell you the truth, I don't think I was especially excited. Yes, I think if our date goes well, we're going to have sex. What can I say. This is the *usual* pattern for me. I'm sex positive. Baby boy benefited from this himself. We had our date. It went well. Then we had sex. 🤷

This led to a short discussion. In this discussion, I pointed out that AFABs are biologically made to have orgasm after orgasm. I'm very sorry, but us, AMABs, have a refractory period after we have an orgasm. It felt to me like I was reminding him of something he heard once in sex ed. This difference, on the other hand, is very current for me, seeing as I bed AFABs and AMABs.

It is likely that baby girl on Sunday is going to experience orgasm after orgasm. This is my goal. Why? Again, because this is usually how it goes when I have an encounter with an AFAB, and I'm not a jerk.

I think he was mildly jealous, and I find myself in uncharted territory. I *did* tell him before we even were intimate that I have much less experience with AMABs (like 2 years with AMABs, compared to 28 years with AFABs). He decided to be patient with me, but now I feel the patience running out.

Then there's the fact that comparing the relationship between you and your lover, with those relationships that your lover has with his other lovers, this is a corrosive agent. If he starts "keeping score" by counting how many orgasms everybody got, he's always going to be losing to the AFABs that I have sex with.

I have a plan, but I'm worried that his concern over the quality of my relationship with AFABs will recur, over and over, and in the end it will kill our relationship.

    (I do welcome constructive observations.)

  11. If #amab stands for assigned male at birth and #afab stands for assigned female at birth then what does #acab stand for. Wrong answers only.

  12. CW: discussing transphobia, misogyny, sexism

    Today's short video:

    #topless #transWOMEN banned from #WhiteHouse #Pride event but not topless #transMAN

    tiktok.com/@toplesstopicstv/vi

    instagram.com/reel/Cte7IESOgim

    youtu.be/q1b6zsUBv0A

at a #biden #government sponsored #pride event, a group of #transwomen #trans #activists were banned from attending future #whiteHouse events for the heinous unforgivable sin of posting chests-without-tops videos to #socialMedia, while the #transMAN right next to them who was ALSO chest-without-top, DIDN'T get banned. how curious!
honestly if you're surprised, you're not paying attention
over and over I've said, what better demonstrates the blatant #sexism and #misogyny of how a #transfolk or #nonbinary person gains or loses the right to go without a shirt in public and on #socialMedia? how is it not #transphobic AF to tell a transman "we don't care what you identify as- until you've had #topSurgery, #thepatriarchy has decided that you still look too female, and therefore will still be subjected to #censorship that all #AFAB and all #cisWomen face"? how is it not transphobic to say to a transwoman, "good thing you are flat chested with broad shoulders, that means you still get to enjoy the freedom to go shirtless in public as all AMAB and #CISmen!"? and that's not even getting into the nonsense of assigning gender, and therefore restricting rights, of those who identify as #genderless or #genderfluid!
WHY ARE MORE PEOPLE NOT OUTRAGED BY THIS?? how are the vast majority of #Americans, even supposed #liberals, #leftists and #progressives, just so unthinkingly accepting of this continued #injustice?

  13. #introduction #intro

Not great at these kinds of things, but here goes.

I am an #AFAB #disabled #nonbinary something something (see I told you I am no good at these things) bouncing over here with the rest of the #twittermigration. I tend to retweet (reTOOT, now) more than craft my own posts, as I also tend to have a difficult time finding words. I find that others say it all so much better than I ever could.

Now for the rest of the hashtags:
