I enjoy everyone's posts on PixelFed. It’s a safe space where I can browse cool stuff.

To improve my own sharing of photos from my travels, I built Vedfolnir: Fediverse Composer. It generates AI AltText and Hashtags, and allows me to schedule my posts. Recently, I internationalized the tool to allow posting in Deutsch, English, Español, Français, and 日本語.

I welcome feedback: https://vedfolnir.org/

I wanted to support the visually impaired community on the Fediverse (or just aging folks like me), but my typing and ability to describe photos was a bottleneck. AI assistance bridges that gap. I review every description, but the AI does the heavy lifting. #TechForGood #Fediverse #AltText

The "Aha!" moment: Accessibility helps everyone. The AI descriptions often help me remember details about the photo I forgot! It's a searchable archive of my memories now, fully tagged and described. #Memory #AI #Fediverse

Automating the boring stuff (tags, alt text, dates) frees up my brain to be actually creative with the caption. It’s not about cheating; it’s about removing friction. That’s the philosophy behind this studio.

I thought I was fixing my posts, but I was really just talking to myself. Edits often don't travel well in the Fediverse. The solution? Don't rely on edits. Get the AI to help you nail the #AltText and metadata upfront. That's the glossy polish Fediverse Composer Studio brings.

Apple’s ad on the eve of #worlddisabilityday (Dec 3), where they highlight their accessibility features, has got to be one of the best ads in recent times. Not necessarily promoting Apple the company or its products. But simply sharing my appreciation for the creative team that worked on this script and the team that pulled this off. #apple #accessibilityfeatures
