I was getting ready to crash for the night and it just hit me.. today is May 25th! May 25th, 1992 is when the BBS was founded. That means this is our.. 34th anniversary! Holy crap. Thanks to EVERYONE who has made this a success and for supporting it for over THREE DECADES. You guys are awesome. #bbs #retrocomputing

I introduced myself to the #fediverse 5 years ago today.

A lot has happened in the past 5 years, for me personally and in the world. I now live in the opposite corner of the continental US, and I work for a different employer - and from home instead of at a warehouse. I've also published more novels since then.

If you tried connecting and couldn't... well, the PC running the BBS Server Gateway decided to stop doing the things. We're fixed now. #bbs

I have eventually been able to fix the issues regarding file transfers from/to modern hardware (e.g. PC or Mac). So now file transfers work with programs like SyncTerm, TeraTerm, lrzsz etc.

Please report any errors or problems in the SUPPORT message file on the BBS.
