Last year I had upgraded my serial ports setup on my Apple //c to avoid having to disconnect cables all the time.
My needs are multiple: with some of my softare, I want to be able to route both the modem & printer ports to a Raspberry Pi for proxying . For my Quicktake project, I want to route both the modem & printer ports to an ad-hoc cable to the camera.
And for Shufflepuck, I want to route the modem port to another Apple II.
I had made that (left image), based on two serial switchboxes. But that's not good enough, so now I'm making that (right image).

Wipe, install, then install #pfSense and flip the Proxmox to be secured behind pfSense, and add a #Ruckus smartzone controller and some other VMs

All without physical access to the machine. Takes me way back to remote #Sun #Sparc installs via a #RS232 #Spiderport :-p

Пришёл недавно, успел написать веб-клиент для их очереди — общение по SOAP, веб сайт, талоны с QR кодом, ничего особенного. Потом руководство поставило задачу: интегрировать физическое табло с вызовом клиентов через веб. Старое десктопное приложение как-то умеет зажигать на нём цифры — надо сделать то же самое, но из веба. Окей, задача понятная. Первым делом пошёл к тем, кто делал это приложение.

Ich brauche nochmal #Fedipower zum Thema Anbindung von Geräten an #Homeassistant.

Gerät 1: #Heliotherm #Wärmepumpe**
Diese hat eine #RS232 Schnittstelle. Ich suche also nach einem #Modbus #Gateway, das von seriellem RS232 auf #WLAN (noch besser #Zigbee) konvertiert.

Für Homeassistant gibt es eine Integration:

Dort wird auf das original Heliotherm Remote Control Gateway verwiesen, das es aber nirgends zu kaufen gibt.

Alles andere wird als ungetestet ausgewiesen, so dass es wohl funktionieren kann - oder auch nicht.
Analog zum genannten Gerät Antratek RS232 Modbus Gateway wäre mit WLAN wohl https://www.antratek.de/wifi-modbus-gateway

Ich finde die Preise aber ziemlich beachtlich.
Deshalb: Kann mir jemand ein Gerät empfehlen?

Gerät 2: Herd & Backofen
Die hängen bei uns an derselben Sicherung. Ich würde hier gerne ein Energiemessgerät in den #Zählerschrank einbauen (lassen). #Wifi, besser Zigbee, wobei ich bei letzerem nicht fündig geworden bin.
Mit WLAN gibt's verschiedene Geräte. Empfohlen wurde mir schon https://www.shelly.com/de/products/shelly-pro-3em-x1

Trotzdem auch hier nochmal die Nachfrage nach anderen Empfehlungen / Gerät via Zigbee.

Gerät 3: Schalter für Außensteckdose**
Wir haben eine Außensteckdose nahe der Grundstücksgrenze. Diese hat im Unterverteiler in der Garage eine eigene Sicherung. Um die Steckdose auszuschalten, müssen wir bislang immer an den Verteiler in der Garage und die Sicherung raus machen.
Gibt es eine solche Sicherung oder einen der Sicherung nachgeschalteten Schalter für den Einbau in den Sicherungskasten, was sich über HA ein- und ausschalten lässt (analog z.B. der Zigbee Energiemessgeräte für die Steckdose)?

Auch hier wäre ich für Tipps dankbar.

Un petit appel à tous les gens qui bricolent dans le #clavier pour ordinateur : je suis à la recherche d'une solution pour avoir un clavier (design classique de préférence) mais avec une sortie en #rs232, donc avec conversion #keycode -> #ascii intégrée.

Ça doit pouvoir se faire en reclaquant le #firmware du clavier, je suppose. Si vous avez des pistes, je veux bien poster une #gif89a pour vous remercier :)

I have a device here that is called a "ComVerter" by a company named Frontline. It is supposed to convert between RS-232 and RS-422/RS-530, but unfortunately my (used) unit came without any documentation and there does not seem to be much info about it on the internet.
Before I take this thing to a friend with an oscilloscope, I thought I'd ask if someone know this device. :)
