The huge clamp down on Russian oil has done nothing really. Saudi buy it, sell it to their home market (increase their profits.. it's cheap) and sell their own oil at an increased price on the world market (due to shortages).
It's like any militant action. It takes just one actor, to screw it up and benefit from it.

During the appalling corruption and gigantic lack of integrity of Trump and Brexit, I realised that, going forward, the only way to counter the lies/misinformation of the likes of Trump/Murdoch/Boris, would be to legislate that anything labelled as News, must be truthful. All else must be labelled 'Opinion' (or maybe just 'crap').
It's good to see the BBC moving towards making the distinction.
