Just tried out the new Agama installer for OpenSUSE Leap 16, and overall, I’m impressed. The setup process is clean and modern, but I did run into a small bug in the network settings — when connecting to Wi-Fi, the toggle that determines whether the system actually uses that network is broken. Clicking it eventually kicked me out of the session completely.

OK. Takže po migraci dat z NB s W10 na NB s W11 mě česká instalace linuxu místo těch W10.
Jenže kterou distribuci? Chci něco s Plasmou 6 a delší podporou ať nemusím řešit upgrade každý půlrok. Takže tentokrát ne Kubuntu - LTS má Plasmu 5 a 25.10. je až moc experimentální.
Takže po krátkém hledání jsem stáhnul #openSUSE Leap 16.
Bude fungovat? Splní očekávání? Zjistíme v následujících dnech 😎

Ahah! Found it! It was because `xdg-desktop-portal-gnome` got uninstalled while I was uninstalling Flatpak the other day (because who needs Flatpak when you've got RPMs and #openSUSE #Tumbleweed plus the #OpenBuildService?)

What does this mean? I'm trying #OpenSuse's config generator, but I really don't understand these "minimum" and "maximum" required disk space settings… I just want it to create a swap of 8gb. ❓

wieder mal probleme mit den nvidia treibern (open hinkt immer hinterher, also zurück zu proprietär)sonst lief das update auf #opensuse leap 16 relativ smooth und bis jetzt keine offensichtlichen probleme
3580 pakete zum downloaden - 15 min.
3979 pakete zum installieren - 20 min.muss mich aber noch an die neue systemadminstration gewöhnen so ganz ohne #yast

I upgraded from 15.6 with opensuse-migrations-tool. Now I have all the functions from YaST in separate tools in the menu. In addition to #Myrlyn . Is that what you want?
By the way ... the old YaST Software find "Thunderbird" - Myrly only find "MozillaThunderbird". (Myrly - Thunderbird - "No result"). -

Mit #OpenSUSE Leap 16.0 sind dann erfolgreich die meisten Distinktionsmerkmale (insbesondere #yast) aus der Distribution bzw. Standardinstallation eliminiert worden. Ich kann mir keine bessere Strategie vorstellen, eine Distribution in der Bedeutungslosigkeit zu versenken. Aus Nostalgiegründen hier ein Screenshot aus für SuSE besseren Zeiten.

My best friend is at a nursing home with a brain tumor. His family asked me to turn his TV into a picture frame when it is not in use. I'v set up an old Intel NUC with #opensuse and #Syncthing to maintain a folder with pictures to be displayed. Can anyone suggest a good #slideshow program?
