Saw something unusual last night that I hope remains that way: while poor Niles was eating his supper, Chibi came over and actually bullied him away from the dish! She came up behind him and started nipping at his head and shell. He tried to back off but she continued. When he started to make his escape she pursued him, still nipping at his heel. There is a twig I’ve placed vertically at the side of the tank, and Niles had to climb up that before Chibi would leave him alone. She returned to the food dish and nibbled, then left to resume her other activities. I opened the tank to let Niles sniff my finger, to see if he wanted to have some extra space, but he eventually decided to slink off and take a nap before returning to his agenda. #snailposting #petsnails #video
