Also I thought I had posted a picture earlier but it didn’t post so!
The snails made a new friend! I keep an eye on their substrate so I’m sure it’s not theirs. This little one probably crawled in through the grated lid as a tiny baby and then got too big to leave. The other snails seem to mostly leave him alone but I’ve seen them all grazing in the food dish together so they seem to get along.
We decided to name it Puck!

Current state of affairs in Little Garden: Niles, having gone through another growth spurt, feels confident enough to feed as he likes, and will even try to ignore Chibi’s attempts to bully him away. Though, it seems mostly as if they’ve come to a detente and mostly just take turns grazing. Chibi doesn’t seem aggressive, just hungry and a little restless, but Niles definitely has some feelings about it, considering he saw her coming over the other evening and took a 💩 on top of the food pile before crawling off. (Ofc I cleaned it up before Chibi ate lol.)
The appearance of Trixie the tiny snail has helped things along a bit; she’s still too little to really play, and she is still a little furtive as she eats and explores, but I think the third snail will be a welcome addition to the family. #snails #snailposting #photography -
