Le copertine belle su acqueagitate
Circa un anno fa su pixelfed, la rete sociale che mira a far le veci (o le feci?) di instagram per lə cittadinə del fediverso, ho iniziato a pubblicare copertine di dischi che ritengo particolarmente belle; senza seguire un filo in particolare, come al solito, ma pescando un po’ a caso nel mare degli ascolti, e con l’unica regola minima di indicare il nome dell’autrice o dell’autore dell’opera, l’etichetta e l’anno di pubblicazione del disco. L’obiettivo era quello, molto semplice, di dare risalto alle arti visive che accompagnano la musica in un periodo in cui, paradossalmente, nell’epoca del dominio dell’immagine, le copertine dei dischi e l’esperienza che di queste facciamo sono relegate lì in un angoletto, schiacciate sotto il peso degli ascolti in streaming (che poi probabilmente la colpa è da attribuire al disegno delle piattaforme più che allo streaming in sé, ma questo è un altro discorso, sarebbe lungo e non intendo affrontarlo qui).
Insomma dicevo, ho iniziato a postare queste copertine, ne ho fatto una bella collection e poi… e poi niente, mi sono stancato di pixelfed, dei suoi stupidi bug che non vengono mai risolti e anzi peggiorano, del suo essere una piattaforma spettacolare che però sta ferma e immobile, non un passo avanti manco per sbaglio. Dopo un momento concitato di bestemmie e caos (inizio a postarle su hubzilla? Su friendica? Provo con entrambe, faccio un gran casino) è arrivata l’illuminazione (sì, sono uno sveglio): ma le posto sul blog cazzo! E eccoci qua. Il primo post è già andato e corrisponde all’ultima copertina della collezione di pixelfed. Le altre resteranno lì, non ho voglia di mettermi a traslocare; a parte la penultima, che ripubblico qui sotto perché a) non voglio lasciare il post di annuncio sprovvisto di copertina; b) è una copertina storica, e ci sta bene nel post di annuncio; c) c’è una storia bella a corredo dell’immagine, una storia venuta fuori giusto l’anno scorso della quale io non sapevo assolutamente nulla fino a una settimana fa.
Un’ultima cosa pratica: potete seguire i post delle copertine cliccando su due tag che troverete in fondo ai post, #CopertineBelle e #AlbumCovers. Per coloro che leggeranno il post dal fediverso, be’, basta seguire uno dei due hashtag (non è bellissimo? «pazzesco il futuro, PAZZESCO!» cit.).
