My Game Jam entry is done, programmed in C, meant for #F256K, K2, Jr. or Jr.2 from #Foenix Retro Systems. Supports simple PSG sound for the older machines, but MIDI for the newer as well.
I will port this to 68k macs in time!

A weekend Game Jam is happening for the Retro Foenix System #F256K, #F256Jr and #F256K2. Double the participants as the one last April. Here's some progress screens ATM. All are using the 65816 as their cpu of choice. I'll be doing an entry as well, stay "tuned"....

Weekend game Jam right before Halloween

Finally had time to play a game of Star Trek on the #F256K by the industrious Ernesto, who's a maestro at making fully completed superbasic programs. He even put out a manual for it!

Great work-in-progress from xDraconian on a remake of Track N' Field ported to a F256, I captured it at 60 fps on my #F256K. All done in assembly; it mimicks the demo mode of the arcade so far.

a very decent port of pacman done by SprySloth for the #F256K. That's basically a dev rite of passage for a new platform, right?

I transfered Duncan from Dark Castle (1986 Macintosh b&w game) to a #F256K with the magic of Gimp image software, python scripts and 6502 assembly language.

#F256K #8bit #6502 development is going along nicely in that community. new firmware release (ie the collection of software loaded up in reserve in flash memory) now includes an awesome file/memory manager with tons of management options, deals with storage device, RAM and Flash alike, can be used as a program launcher.
