@yakkoj #OpenFirmware was the most pleasant boot environment I ever used. I could figure out how to boot things, which is not exactly true today with an EFI shell.

gl.inet's Comet Pro works better than the old Comet KVM I have (it at least doesn't make the web browser run the system out of RAM)
Good thing, too, cause I can't buy another JetKVM right now, which was what I was going to do (AMZN has it "unavailable")
At least these are inexpensive for KVMs that do IP

Oops... I take back what I said re: Philips keying the plug for USB
Turns out it was actually a good idea. The old stuff not only has reverse polarity, but it takes +15VDC in, which would give this new trimmer a hot supper, so it's protecting me from my own being an idiot
(can't blame me for thinking the old stuff was +5, though; they print the ratings in microscopic font with no contrast. It was only when the voltmeter lit up with "15" that I got the idea)

OK, got NUT working on these RasPis that were having trouble before
Had to edit the UPS definition. Sometimes nut-scanner puts stuff out that should NOT be in the definition. The busport and device numbers should be left out, in my experience.

I am learning about HTML emails for quite some time and it have a great potential.
But it feells like whole different world in comparison to website creation. For me it is the bottleneck of HTML emails. Too much efford for an email, even with such tools as an #mjml and some automation. WDYT? :gnome:

It was too late a while ago.
The youth exodus from #TikTok is already underway. Gen Z is abandoning it in droves, leaving their parents (Millennials) the largest demographic remaining.
As usual, children seek to hang out in places their parent's generation are *not*. TikTok lost that a while ago.

There isn't a huge variety of traditional black sweets in Japan, but 'kuro-yakko' (黒大奴) is perhaps one of the best known.
Sweet, bite-sized balls of red bean paste are covered with yōkan (gently flavored with salty kelp).Kuro-yakko were created by 'Shimizu-ya' (清水屋), a store in business since the early 18thC. The sweets are named after the 'Ō-yakko' (大奴), participants in Shimada City's "Obi Festival" (島田大祭・帯まつり), a regular event held by Ōi-jinja (大井神社) since 1695.
