In last stages of Interstate 70 construction, a great engineering feat of blasting a highway through the solid rock of the Reef was achieved in the late 1960s. This last Friday, when the San Rafael bridge was closed due to police activity, I kill some at the #marincountyciviccenter. The striking building is designed by #franklloydwright and looks like some futuristic Italian #architecture.
I love the architecture creates these beautiful patterns and shapes inside. It never seems very crowded, and it's always calm and lovely.
