@SSchicago A couple of the main rules about #CCW is to be aware of surroundings and AVOID conflict. Keep an eye on your surroundings; don't stand with your back to an open area where you can be attacked. If possible avoid mass transportation (I know that's not always possible). I'm not saying it's 100%, but there ARE tactics that give you the opportunity to draw your sidearm in close-quarter. Just remember: "I was afraid for my life", and "Lawyer." Don't say a word to police.
