  1. #linustorvald had some particularly fun comments with respect to #russia #linux kernel maintainers. While I'm sure the individual maintainers are reasonable people (at least as far as kernel maintainers go), removing an avenue for Russia to inject nefarious kernel code (by way of force on these maintainers) is a net positive. I hate that we have to do such things, but it's the reality of where we are.

  12. Been playing with #partdb (github.com/Part-DB/Part-DB-ser) lately to see if it's a good way to keep my ever growing parts collection cataloged and findable. The #kicad integration seems like a great idea, but haven't done much besides dropping a few parts on a schematic.

Still have a few "best practices" to figure out. In particular, does anyone have any pointers on how best to manage generic/multi mfg parts like resistors?

  17. #DreamScenario was a fun watch. It was a novel concept well executed. Certainly has me still thinking about the concept and the ramifications the movie explores.

  18. Watched #LisaFrankenstein last night. It was like watching a Tim Burton movie while stoned. But I was sober.

Totally watchable, surreal as fuck, weird but good acting by Lisa. Overall just a fun time!

  19. I may sometimes poke fun at Star Wars, but I'm still quite a fan. And there's no denying the cultural impact the movies have had. I just got ahold of the #4k77 version of the original star wars theatrical release and .. well .. just wow. The sheer amount of work that must have gone into that is inspiring and a true act of fandom.

  20. Like so many others this #Xmas I'm sure, I was given a copy of #OpenCircuits. This book is a work of art, jam packed with absolutely stunning images that were no doubt a labor of love to capture. Eric Schlaepfer and @oskay have created a masterpiece!
